Concrete, Patio & Driveway Removal
Cracked slabs, heaved walkways, crumbling steps, brick patios and full driveways: we break them up, load the rubble and send it to a concrete recycler, without tearing up the rest of the yard.

Heavy debris, priced honestly
Concrete is priced by how much there is, not by the hour.
Concrete is the one job where the estimate needs real numbers: thickness, square footage and whether it is reinforced. A four-inch patio breaks up fast; a six-inch driveway with rebar or wire mesh is a different day. That is why our ranges run from a stoop to a full drive, and why the crew measures and confirms the price with you on site before the first cut.
We use demolition hammers and saws, protect the surfaces that stay — siding, garage floors, neighboring slabs — and load the rubble straight into the trailer. Clean concrete goes to a recycler, which is cheaper than a landfill, and that saving is already in your price.
What we remove
Anything poured, laid or stacked: slabs, patios, walkways, steps and stoops, driveways, aprons, brick and block, retaining walls and the footings and piers left under an old structure.

Patios, Walkways & Steps
The small-to-medium jobs: a cracked patio behind the house, a heaved front walk, a set of stoop steps that has separated from the foundation. Broken up, hauled and swept the same day, usually $500–$1,200 for a stoop or a short walk and $1,200–$3,000 for a full patio.
Driveways & Aprons
Full driveways, garage aprons and parking pads are the large jobs — thicker, often reinforced, and heavy enough that we plan the loads. Expect $3,000–$6,000 depending on size and thickness, with the price confirmed after we measure on site.
Brick, Block & Retaining Walls
Brick patios, block walls, planter boxes and crumbling retaining walls come out the same way; brick that is still good can be stacked for you to keep or sell. Priced by the size of the wall or the area, in the same small / medium / large ranges as poured concrete.
Footings, Piers & Slabs Under Old Structures
Taking down a shed, deck, garage or hot tub? The slab and footings underneath are a concrete line on the same quote, so you see one number for the whole job.
What concrete removal usually costs
Typical ranges from the pricing system our estimator and our crew both use. Thickness, reinforcement and access move a job within its range.
Small
Stoops, steps, short walkways
$500–$1,200
Medium
Patios, long walks, small pads
$1,200–$3,000
Large
Driveways, aprons, big patios
$3,000–$6,000
Brick & block
Patios, walls, planters
$500–$6,000 by size
Ranges cover labor, hauling and disposal. Access, weight and anything hazardous change the price — we say so before you book, never after. General contractors: ask for the subcontract rate sheet.

Common Questions
How do you price concrete removal?
By size and thickness. Stoops and short walks are the small range, patios the medium range, driveways the large range; reinforced concrete sits toward the top of its range. Photos get you an estimate; the crew measures and confirms on site.
Where does the concrete go?
To a concrete recycler, not a landfill. Clean concrete, brick and block are crushed into base material, and that lower disposal cost is already reflected in the price.
Can you remove a driveway without damaging the garage floor or the sidewalk?
Yes. We saw-cut clean joints where the driveway meets surfaces that stay and work back from there.
Do you pour new concrete?
No — we are the removal crew. We leave a clean, graded footprint your concrete contractor can form on.
Is a permit required?
Rarely for private patios and walkways; some towns want one for a driveway or an apron at the public sidewalk. We tell you before you book.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — fully licensed and insured for junk removal and demolition, residential and commercial.
