Backyard demolition
A half-day job that leaves you a clean footprint.
Most sheds, decks and fences come down in a morning. We unbolt and cut rather than smash, so the pieces stay small enough to carry and nothing lands on your siding, your neighbor’s fence or the flowerbed. Metal sheds are cut and folded, wood sheds are stripped to the frame and dropped, decks are cut into sections and lifted off the joists, fence posts are pulled or cut flush — your choice.
You get the number before we start: photos get you a free estimate, and when the crew arrives they measure and confirm the price with you on site. Pressure-treated lumber, roofing, concrete footings and hardware are sorted at the trailer — metal and concrete go to recyclers, the rest to a licensed transfer station.

Shed Demolition
Resin, metal and wood sheds up to the big two-story kits. We empty it if you have not, strip the roof and walls, break out the floor, and pull or cut the anchors. Want the slab gone too? That is a concrete line on the same quote. Metal sheds run $630–$1,012; wood sheds $900–$1,800 depending on size and what is inside.
Deck Removal
Boards, joists, beams, stairs and railings come off in sections; posts are cut flush or dug out with the footings when you are rebuilding on a new layout. Composite and pressure-treated lumber are hauled separately. Decks price by the square foot — about $7–$10 — so a standard 20×24 deck lands around $2,500–$3,300.
Fence Removal
Wood privacy fences, chain link, vinyl and split rail: panels off, posts pulled with the concrete or cut at grade, holes backfilled. Short runs between houses start around $500; a full-yard perimeter with set posts runs $1,200–$3,500. We can leave the posts you plan to reuse.

Do I need a permit to remove a shed, deck or fence?
Most suburbs do not require one for taking a shed, deck or fence down; a few want a demolition permit for larger decks. We tell you before you book whether your town needs one and what it takes.
Can you take the concrete slab or the footings too?
Yes. Slabs, piers and set fence posts are priced as a concrete line on the same quote, so you see it before we start.
Do I have to empty the shed first?
No. If it is still full, send photos of the inside as well and we quote the contents with the tear-down — everything leaves in the same trailer.
How long does it take?
Most sheds, decks and fences are a half-day job for our crew. Same-day and next-day slots are usually available across the Chicago suburbs.
What happens to the material?
Metal and concrete go to recyclers; treated lumber, roofing and composite go to a licensed transfer station. We do not take hazardous materials — paint cans, chemicals and oils in the shed need a licensed disposal company.
